I'm not really sure how old this trunk is...but I think it is from the 40's or 50's. |
This is a special trunk, as it belonged to Dr Moss....one of my daddy's Dr's many years ago. |
It was made by Indestructo and I think they made this type of trunk from 1900-1950. |
I have an old Dr's bag on the trunk ......very old and fragile. |
I found it last month at a cute antique shop in Canton Tx...$20. |
This is a Rx file from 1956. |
I thought this 1914 medical book on "Organ otherapy" would make a great addition to a Halloween vignette! |

ReplyDeletePenny, you have such great vintage treasures, and did a wonderful job using them in your Halloween decor. I started a new link party this week called We Call It Olde. It's for anything antique, vintage, or history-related. I'd love for you to join in each week. Starts on Tuesdays but runs all week. This post would be perfect, hope to see you there! Take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
ReplyDeletePenny, that is an awesome display and I love how you actually knew the owner of the trunk! I always think it makes the pieces so much more special when they have a story! I'm so glad you shared at our fall link up! :) Kim @ Exquisitely Unremarkable
ReplyDeletePenny, that is an awesome display...it's almost theatrical, so much detail. I love the trunk and the fact that you actually knew the owner. I think it makes a piece so much more special when there is a story attached. Thanks so much for sharing it at our fall link up! Kim @ Exquisitely Unremarkable
