I put some figurines on the shelves.... |
This sweet couple belonged to my mother and were made in 1953.... |
I love this couple's frills.... |
Look around their neck and sleeves. |
And here is the couple on the third shelf. |
I put a small Victorian lamp on the top of the cabinet and cut some fresh roses from the back yard. Yes, we still have roses blooming here in New Mexico! |
These beautiful roses are almost the exact color of the roses in the picture. |
I think this is an old Home Interior picture, but there wasn't any marking on the back...do any of you recognize it? |
I almost forgot to take a "before" picture...H had already taped off the glass! |
The fabric on the back was original and in pretty bad condition,,,,,,, |
so , I replaced it with some pretty pink fabric. |
You can see how that whole wall is "eat up" with doors..... |
2 closet doors.... |
and the door that opens into the hallway. |
That is just perfect for that spot there, Penny. I like the height of it. I thought it was shorter when I first saw it. I do think that might be an old Home Interiors picture. It sure looks like their stuff. xo Diana

ReplyDeletePenny, your sweet cabinet fits perfectly in that spot. Looks like it was made for it! Great collection of figurines. 1953, a very good year. The year I was born. lol! I love the pink paper. I just got up the nerve and started painting our cherry wood bed white. A lot of detail so it's taking me longer than I thought. I was sure that I would paint it yesterday and have it put back together before bed time. lol! Not happening. I will work again tomorrow. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
