I decided this morning that it was time to freshen up the laundry room. We did a mini make over in February 2013 and I haven't changed anything since then...that doesn't sound like me does it...lol! |
The first thing to do was some DEEP cleaning.....how did my laundry room get so dirty? |
I took down the chalkboard that was hanging over the wicker hamper and replaced it with a picture that I found at HL in the 90% off isle the other day. |
I added some silk flowers to the wire basket that was on the hamper. The black and pink apron that you can see on the top of the basket found a new home on a french hook by the new picture.. |
I cleared everything off the desk and scrubbed off all that hairspray! |
I put together a French vignette in the left corner of the desk. |
H had painted the mirror white and I hot glued a fabric rose that I had made to the corner,. |
Here is the before and after photo. I added two new lamps to the top of the desk for some additional lighting. |
The wall of white cabinets on the right of the laundry room are used to store..... |
lots of my linens. |
A fresh bouquet from the garden is on the other end of the desk. |
The roses aren't blooming as much as they were.... |
but, the wildflower garden is in full bloom. |
