Auction Dishes

This weeks auction was more of a "man thing"....lots of tools and guy stuff.    H bought a John Deere wagon to pull behind his lawn mower....I'll show you that later.   Anyway...so  it was just the kind of auction that I love....girly things going really cheap since it was mostly men attending the auction!

I bought these gorgeous dishes.....

There were 3 serving dishes.....a covered vegetable server,  a serving bowl,  and a platter.....

12 plates,  11 dessert plates,  11 saucers, and 6 cups..

The little metal basket of dishes on the left was $6....just for the dishes....I already had the basket.

I thought the milk glass pieces would go well with the new dishes....

The pattern is a soft blue and pink....  the dishes are marked Haviland France on the back.

For the tablecloth,  I used a large crocheted piece with a wide lace table runner.  

What did I pay for 43 pieces of china.....$5!    

I bought this little round table to sell in the booth......

H gave it a good coat of pink paint.
  I bought a gallon of Antique Aqua yesterday and can't wait to see some pieces painted that color.
