| I found a few Prairie items at the yard sales over the week end. The first thing I want to show you is my violin.....it was hand made by an artisan in a small town near us. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase it for $5! I can't wait to paint it white.....or pink.....and pile on some bling. |

| This pretty pink cowgirl hat will get plenty of bling added to it before it can be worn. I bought a gorgeous pink satin top and skirt.....here is the back of the top...it laces up...love it! |

| I added some of my hand made roses to give you an idea of how these rose boots will look after they get dressed up.....new laces and some glitter.... I also found some padded hangers, two large pieces of lace, and a wedding album. |

My area still likes more of a Rustic Country look with a bit of Country Victorian.

ReplyDeleteI'm a born and bred TEXAN...West Texas, to be exact. We wear boots here, with short and long skirts/dresses..never with flowers on them...and never pink hats.lol....oh, bet if I got out and really looked, I might find a pink hat here in our town. One of the grands had pink TOPS on a pair of her boots.

ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful finds! All the girly stuff. I have a really hard time with choosing a style. The think is I like everything I see. I think I have mostly traditional in my home........but a little french county, contemporary and shabby chic........see what I mean. LOL

I live in the Midwest, but I still like to dress in what you guys so coolly refer to as Prairie Chic!!! It's the way to go! I like to pile on the bling along with the cowgirl hats, boots and sweeping skirts. Fun!!! I love that pink hat and that lace-up top!!! And the sneakers.....oh, those sneakers!!!! What a find!!!!!!
