Christmas Vignettes

There is a large built in display cabinet in the family room that I love to decorate for the holidays.   I usually just add seasonal items to the existing displays....it doesn't take long...about an hour.

I found this set of Bride and Groom nutcrackers at an antique shop.    I collect nutcrackers and vintage wedding items,  so naturally it was love at first sight.

Their faces are carved wood.....unlike any I had seen before....

I added some silk poinsettias to one of the existing vignettes

I also placed some gold and silver paper doilies under some of the vignettes........

I tried to add a little bit of Christmas to each existing vignette...

This is my favorite Christmas ornament....I've had this Santa a long time

I pass this cabinet a hundred times a day on my way from the family room to the kitchen and the other end of the house  (little girls room)....  it's so worth the little bit of time it took to add some holiday bling to the cabinet!
