Saturday at the Auctions

Two great auctions in one day......that's my kind of Saturday!   In the morning we went to an estate sale....they sell the contents of the house and then sell the house.    I bought three gorgeous antique chandeliers at that auction....

a big chandy....

and two smaller ones. 

  The two smaller ones are just alike.

The chests of silverware were so reasonable that I bought not one......

but two sets.

Pretty silver tea set......

and a tea for one set.

There were two big black enamel pots,   but of course I bid on the white one!

In the afternoon we dropped by the auction that was held at our local auction house.     

They advertised that the estate they were selling had over 2000 salt and pepper shakers.....as well as over 2000 dolls!   They didn't exaggerate one bit!

I bought two boxes of salt & pepper shakers and most of them will go to the booth...  but.....maybe I'll keep a couple!

I did buy a few dolls and will try to do a post on them later.
