Here are the same three aprons tied to a tension rod to make a curtain across the kitchen window. |
Here they are again on the same tension rod across the coffee bar. |
The apron that I have used as a slip cover on my wicker chair is one of those that ties around your neck and also at the waist. |
I like to hang aprons to add some softness to a vignette that has several "hard" pieces like this one with the hard wood table and ceramic pig. |
Here is the same apron that you just saw in the photo before this one, but now it is an "island runner" In the background, you can see where I have tied two aprons to the oven doors. |
I added a long white apron to the front of my pink drape just to add a little texture. |

I love the table runner idea, So Cute! I have to remember that one. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteWho would have known there were so many beautiful ways to display aprons!
ReplyDeleteBecause of you, sweet lady, I am using my crocheted runners etc. in a lot more ways...and today a pretty runner out of that tea cup material arrived. A lady from Maine made it and it's got a soft flannel backing and hand croched edging worked around the edges..it's lovely and it didn't go on any table. It went over the back of my oak rocker. I cannot paint it as it was a gift from my late husband and I cherish it...and the table runner really softened it up! You give me such GREAT idea's.
