White Swan Christmas Tablescape

Seven swans a swim'in.......I was humming the 12 Days of Christmas as I put together this fun tablescape in the family room dining area.

I bought my beautiful swan at Home Goods last year at their after Christmas sale.    I have kept her out all year,  but she has been sitting on the table in the formal dining room.

I filled the cavity between her wings with battery operated fairy lights that I found in the wedding section at Hobby Lobby.

Her "pond" is a fluffy lap throw.......

She has a fur wrap around her neck.......

Her wrap is pinned together with a beautiful brooch.    The addition of a silver Merry Christmas sign completes my simple centerpiece.

The place setting are also very simple......

The farmhouse style chairs that I had on each side of the buffet didn't fit in with my elegant tablescape,  so H took them back out to the Christmas room until next year.

I put a white tiered table in the place of one of the chairs and put a crystal cake plate on the top shelf.    Then I  added a Santa head  "carousel" to make a simple quick Christmas decoration.    I have 6 of these identical Santa heads.....mother and I each bought 3 alike at an after Christmas sale at Dillards many years ago.

I borrowed a white rose bouquet from my bedroom as the centerpiece for the Duncan Phyfe table "buffet".    I borrowed a white candle from the guest bath.   When I change to another tablescape in a few days,   I can easily just put these things back where they were.

You have seen these white trees in several of my Christmas vignettes this year.    I purchased 6 of them in the 90% off isle at Hobby Lobby last year for $2 each.

I used fur collar pieces as the tree skirt for each of the trees and pinned the ends together with a vintage brooch.   Both of the brooches belonged to my mother and are from the 50's

It's only 5 o"clock and it's beginning to get dark outside........I really miss the summer when it doesn't get dark until about 8:30.

We're supposed to have our first snow Sunday!
