Farmhouse Style Christmas in the Family Room

I've shared bits and pieces of the Farmhouse style Christmas decor in the family room and I finally finished the last section of the room today and can't wait to share the whole room with you.

I shared the mantel a few weeks ago......

But at that time I hadn't finished the rest of the fireplace.      I have my favorite pink Victorian  chairs in front of the fireplace and sitting in them are my favorite sheep pillows.

I shared the trees and farm decor on the right side of the fireplace earlier,   but you haven't seen the other side yet.

I have three slim trees on the left side of the fireplace and they are decorated very simply.

The topper for each of the trees is a bow made from black and white buffalo check fabric mixed with a floral design fabric.

Santa doesn't come til Christmas eve here at our house,  so I always just decorate around the bottom of the tree until the special night arrives.

I haven't used my vintage dolls in my Christmas decor for several years and I thought it was about time for them to join the holiday decor again.

This doll has on a dress that was worn by a baby many years ago....

A photo of the child that wore the dress was pinned to the dress when I bought it.

I have a little angel at the top of one of the trees......

A pretty pink Santa is the only ornament on the other tree.....

Here is a close up of the decor on the piano mantel to the side of the trees.

Continuing around the family room is a love seat and sofa......here is the link to that post......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2016/12/santa-picture-reindeer-pillows-and.html

The details on the Victoria Station on the coffee table are also on the link I gave you for the sofa and love seat........

The details about the trees and decor on the right side of the fireplace are here......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2016/12/farmhouse-style-christmas-tree.html

The dining area in the family room has all the details on this post here.......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2016/12/farmhouse-style-dining-room.html

Christmas will be here in less than 2 WEEKS......and I'm not ready!!!!

  3. Your home looks picture perfect!! As a "maximalist", I believe like yourself, in home décor, each time I even start to consider downsizing or minimalizing my own decor or reading recommended minimalist books, I step back and say no way!! Your home is so, so cozy and inviting. Now, about the energy necessary to do all this --- thank you for sharing!!

  4. Like mine, your things for decorating your home are things you have collected over the years and adding each year. Not ready to get rid of things just yet...not yet. Everything looks lovely as always. How fun it is to see a different scene each way you turn..

  14. I didn't put my white tree out this year and now you are making me wish we could have a "do over." The windmill piece is amazing. I'll have to dig through your posts to see how I missed that. Thanks for linking up to Monday Social.
