More Changes in the Great Room

I'm still adding more Farmhouse style touches to the great room.....this time in the dining area.

I swapped the white painted dining room chairs with the natural wood ones in our second dining area.

Before.................................................After

I  took the pink Victorian chairs to the master bedroom and placed them on each side of the faux fireplace.    I replaced then with the armed chairs that go with the ones at the table.

I still love the leaded glass that I had in the window.....and it found a new home in the window of one of the guest rooms.   I am in the process of refreshing that guest room.....and will share that with you when I'm done.

In it's place I hung a piece of leaded glass that I bought at a yard sale a while back.

My new leaded glass piece had a former life as an oval door insert.

I wanted a new vignette under the new window,   but I haven't finished it yet.

I plan to hunt up some "smalls" to put on the shelves.....

Last week I added a piano bench at the end of the table.......

I had a grey and white buffalo check fabric on the seat that matched the tablescloth.    I didn't attach it to the seat because I didn't want to make it permanent and it's a good thing because I already have changed my mind.

I haven't attached this leather piece either.....who know's what will be there in a day or two....lol!

I do a new tablescape each week and this is the one for this week......

The centerpiece for my tablescape is a clear mason jar filled with babies breath......

I put my bouquet on a wood slice and added a goat family to complete the centerpiece.

The place settings are all the same......metal charger....china plate.....and sweet goat napkin.

On top of the lace tablecloth,  I have a Farmhouse style table runner.......

Here's a better photo of the lace table cloth.......

And the rest of the pattern on the table runner.

My platter matches the plates,  but I have an ironstone cover on the top of it.

The arm chairs on each side of the window will be a lot easier to pull up to the table when we have company.    Those two Victorian chairs that were there before were Heavy and a little short!

I have  more changes to share,  but this post is already pretty long!     So,  see you soon!
