H and I eat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen pretty often since most of the time it's just the two of us. |
Just because we eat in the kitchen it doesn't mean I can't take a couple of minutes to set up a pretty tablescape. |
I set the bar with a place setting consisting of a pink metal charger........ |
Farmhouse blue stripped place mats, pink drink glasses, and the star of the place setting is my blue bunny plates. |
A simple bouquet and a cluster of napkins completes my "breakfast barscape"......lol! |
Since I'll use the blue bunny dishes for most of our meals this spring, I scattered some of the accessory pieces to them around the kitchen. |
I put the matching coffee cups and creamer & sugar bowl by the coffee pot |
I have additional bunny plates on the counter........ |
An additional bunny plate is on the other counter....... |
I put striped chargers behind the bunny plates on the counters. |
Now for the tour of the rest of the kitchen...... |
I enjoyed your visit so much, please stop by again soon! |
Penny,
ReplyDeleteYou know I am not a huge fan of Farmhouse but I do LOVE the way you incorporate it into your home , nixing it with your love of pink and shabby chic. You have created your own individual style and I do feel that this is what blog land needs....More individual style and not cookie cutter homes that look exactly alike...This is why I love visiting you my friend!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Me again,,,I forgot to mention that my heart skipped a beat when I saw the sewing machine in the corner!!!!LOVE IT!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love your delightful bunny dishes! So pretty, the way you displayed them around the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteWell, Penny, You have done it again!!! I love the blue bunnies. I love your kitchen. Everything you do has such wonderful style. I wished you lived down the street from me. I would be so much fun to have lunch with you. You are such a breath of fresh air with your wonderful country style. My sister and I were talking about the Brown Swiss cow we had when I was little as she is 10 years older than me. It brought back such wonderful memories of that wonderful, beautiful, sweet cow. I get the same wonderful feel each time I visit your home. So much love and attention to making your home lovely for all of us to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Leona
So much to admire here! I love those sweet pink seats up to that adorable counter. And the FARM sign to the right of the photo above the old sewing machine makes a homey statment. You always inspire me to get some primping done.
ReplyDeleteI love the bunny plates and the pink chargers. The sewing machine is so nostalgic and all of the little things make a big impact on this kitchen. Lovely. Thank you for sharing with #OMHGWW
ReplyDeleteI am really loving all the soft pinks here, Penny! So pretty.

ReplyDeleteThe egg cups caught my eye right away. I used to have a nice collection but ended up whittling it down when we moved overseas. Those bunny plates, though! WOW! ReplyDeleteYour bunny dishes are adorable. I found placemats like that in gray at the thrift store. They've never been used! I love the spring kitchen.
