Creating Christmas in the Studio

I use my studio almost daily to create decor for our home,   but I've never decorated the studio itself.

We are making some changes in my Christmas room,   so alot of the stuff that was in there has been moved into the studio while construction is taking place.   So,  since  my Christmas decor is in the studio already,    I decided to decorate it for Christmas this year.

I already had a tree in the studio but it has always been used to store flowers on that I use to make floral designs for our home.    At the end of my post,    I will share before,  during,   and after photo's of how I transformed my flower tree into Woodland themed Christmas tree for the studio

 

 

I found the tree that I have been using to poke flowers in came from a yard sale several years ago.   It is kind of an ugly beige color and didn't have any lights on it,   but for $5 it was just what I was looking for.

So the first thing I did was add Christmas greenery stems and picks to cover up most of the beige branches 

Then,   I tucked a few woodland houses into the tree.....

Flowers,  berry's,  and red birds came next.....

Then I added Santa's.....

Mushrooms and fern picks

As you can see here,    I left some of the beige branches showing thru.

I put my white wicker chaise lounge next to the tree.....  

 

And sat one of my favorite Santa's in my favorite places to sit and read or just relax after a hard day of creating in the studio

Heres how it looked after I removed all the flowers.....you can see what a mess I made doing that!
