White Range Hood, Dinner Plate Burner Covers, and Chocolate Pots

Painting our Almond color range hood ahs been on the "to do" list for way to long!   
Mark that off the list!

You can see what a big difference it made...love it! 
Next on the list was making new burner covers.      Some of you guys may not be tired of my white enamel pot lids.....but I kinda am!

I have used dinner plates for burner covers in the past.      Mostly just to set some kind of decor on them like you can see in this photo....

Well the ship has sailed for doing that with the new burner covers ..... 

H E6000'd some pretty drawer pulls on the bottom of the plates.    I've had good luck using E6ooo in the past to hold stuff      If it comes off and drops one of them....no problem.   I have plenty of yard sale white plates and handles to easily  make a replacement

Now about the chocolate pots!

My chocolate pots are very special to me.....the green set belonged to my mother and the pink set was a birthday gift from her several  years ago.     I keep anything thing that is special to me in a place that they it can't get knocked over or picked up by one of the grands.    They know better,,  but I just want my pots to be safe!

I couldn't help but notice how plain jane  the doors above the range are when they are open.   

 I may need to put that on my to do list!
