Busy Bee Buggy

We don't get much rain here in Eastern New Mexico,   but we have lots of sun shine here in the in the Land of Enchantment.    So.... mold and mildewed fabric isn't much of a problem,  but the sun fades it out after a while.

New Wagon for my Metal Goat to Pull around the Kitchen....yes, the Kitchen!

I had a wooden goat cart for many years and sadly it finally fell apart and couldn't be repaired.    While  strolling thru a local shop here in Eastern New Mexico the other day,   I spotted this wagon and thought that it would make a pretty good replacement for my goat cart.    The wheels and frame are all metal and H can replace the wood part if it ever needs it.

The Patriotic holidays are just around the early summer we celebrate Memorial Day,  mid summer we celebrate the 4th of July,  and at the end of summer we celebrate Labor Day.     I usually bring out my Patriotic decor about the middle of May and leave it up til after Labor Day.     I never tire of  Red,  White and Blue but sometimes..... for a change...... I love to use the softer pastel colors of Patriotic decor that compliment my existing decor so well.

The Cottagecore design trend....what is it and is it for me?

A New Look for my She Shed

I shared the mural on the back of my trailer about a month ago,   and I have finally finished the front.   It wasn't that the front was such a big project.....the problem was that other things kept getting pushed ahead of it!

Wildflowers, Sun Room Porch , and Rose Garden

There is a big deck on the east side of the sun room,   and a small porch comes off the south side.   H had to replace the deck on the east side couple of years ago and the small porch was in dire need of repairs this year.   It probably would have been easier to just tear it down and start over from scratch,   but the porch posts have always been a favorite of mine so we decided to keep them and do a make over.

New Look for our Multipurpose Garden Shed

Our little Tuff Shed is one of the most functional structures in the back yard.     In the winter,   it houses outdoor furniture, garden tools,  flower pots.....etc.    In the spring,  H brings all the furniture outdoors and the shed has plenty of room in it to do double duty as a Potting Shed.

Saying Goodbye to My Beautiful Garden Beds

Change is never easy but it was especially hard for me to make the decision to take down the garden beds that have been in our backyard since about 2014.    I've collected head/foot boards for years and have quite a!
