 It feels like summer has just started but fall will be here before you know it!
Will Mushroom decor be trending this Fall?    I sure hope so!

 The fields of gorgeous wild sunflowers are in full bloom here on the prairie's of  New Mexico.   They were just the little nudge of inspiration that I needed to give the sunroom a mid summer refresh!

Our 4th of July Backyard

 As we were getting the backyard ready for our celebration, the big trumpet vine kept catching my eye.     So   I decided to take a break and snap a few photos.    
This photo was taken from the backside of the vine which faces the alley.    It's probably prettier from the alley than it is from the backyard.

I've kept an area rug on the back porch for years thinking that I needed it to give the porch a "cozy" feel.   Does anyone else think that having a rug outdoors is way too much work?    Instead of vacuuming several  times a week.    H just takes the leaf blower out and cleans off the porch in a matter of minutes!

I have collected coffee cups and mugs for many years!    The other day I finally admitted to myself that my collection was out of control and it was time to do "as we say here in Eastern New Mexico"....."cull the herd "!!!

Summer Sunroom

Several years ago,   H converted our covered patio into a Sunroom.    The 2 brick outside walls of the house make  up two of the walls and H constructed the other two walls using 6 sets of French doors.

The other day,   we made some changes in the furniture arrangement in the Sunroom to allow even more sun in there.
