Hello Autumn

September has arrived and I have always counted it as the unofficial arrival of autumn....or Pre Fall as I like to call it!

Today I wanted to share how I decorated the corner cabinet in the kitchen with a nod to Autumn.....

I found a clipart print that had pumpkins and hot chocolate in it....

I've always thought of hot chocolate as a Christmas / Winter drink but I think it looks really sweet surrounded by Pink Pumpkins.....

Moving on to the Autumn vignette on the second shelf of the corner cabinet.....

This shelf is the pumpkin patch at Maple Wood Acres Farm....

This pumpkin only had a stub of a stem when I got it.....    So,   I had H cut it completely off and drill a hole big enough to stick the post on a door knob thru.    A little hot glue secured it and my pumpkin now has a pretty stem.

The third shelf has a print that I used a white cutting board as the frame for it....

I have a couple of little Dollar Tree pumpkins that I made over with fabric....   I cut the fabric way to big for the pumpkin and then twisted the excess into a stem and secured the stem with twine....

I created an Autumn vignette on the floor with Farm Chic fabric pumpkins I made several years ago.   The final touch to the corner cabinet is a metal watering can filled with fall wildflowers

I'm often asked where I get some of my decor and usually I have to answer that I've had it for years.    I want to give you guys a heads up that Tractor Supply has chicken skeletons in for Halloween and they are tooooo cute!
