I've been chomping at the bit to start decorating for Christmas and I finally gave in over the weekend..... |

I started by creating some Gingerbread Christmas vignettes on the kitchen counters |

Some of my Gingerbread decor has been Hand Made by me... and this recipe box was one of my favorite projects..... |

I plan to use the shelf above the mixer to display old recipe cards that I have..... |

I have a blank recipe card in the holder now, but I will periodically replace it with hand written cards that belonged to my Mother and Grandmother..... |

H has collected vintage mixers for years.....and this one is one of his favorites....as well as mine! |
