Colorful Summer Porch

I really stepped out of my comfort zone when I decorated our back porch for summer this year......

Instead of the pastel colors I usually decorate with.....  I chose happy bright colors this year !  

The rug I picked out is bursting with brightly colored roses.....

I framed a colorful kitty garden flag to hang above the faux fireplace.....

I purchased my black/white striped cushions several years ago.   I used them several seasons and then packed them away when I began using lots of pastel colors to decorate our home....

The ceramic cat that my Mother gave me years ago was the star of my sneak peek post.     Mother gave me a cat just like the one she had.....so I have 2 of them now.   I would give my daughter one of them but she's not "into ceramic cats" lol!

You also may have noticed that I've changed the seating arrangement to include a lounge chair to relax in.....  

I had to close off the center French doors that had been our way out of the sunroom for several years to accommodate the new seating arrangement .....We are using the south doors now 

The sun will be setting pretty soon so H turned on the lights we have on the porch.

The back yard is so pretty after dark....I'll share some photo's in the near future with you guys.....HUGS!
