Today, I'm sharing some photo's I took the other day of the pathway behind the back porch. The pathway is about 6' x 20' with the back porch on one side and an ivy-covered fence on the other side |

Since this is the only path with a gate from the back yard to the front yard, we use this path all the time! |

I moved the water tank to the pathway about 2 years ago with plans to make a potting bench out of it.....but all it has done is become a catch all! |

We need to clean the path up and try to give some charm. The pathway will be a Summer project..... |

This is where the path behind the back porch begins..... |

Now for a little stroll around the yard.... White Iris are in bloom |

At the end of the flower bed along the back fence is beautiful Snow Ball bush.... |

The Snow Ball bush hangs halfway over the fence into the alley.... |

The Lilac bush only bloomed at the top before we had a late spring freeze that killed a lot of the other blooms. I hope to make some progress over summer on the "Pathway" that I can share on my blog! |
I know that these are the 'before' photos of the path, but it's already so pretty! My favorite part is how the items lying around are decorative items - like the grapevine wreaths. It's such a relaxing space that promotes creativity, can't wait to see the after!
ReplyDeleteOoh such a beautiful place to get lost in! I love it even without changes. (:
