Shopping Your Home First

I've been spring cleaning, and as usual.....

 I can't do it without rearranging furniture & changing things out!

In the family dining room,  I moved the existing furniture around

Then, I swapped a couple of chairs with two that were in the sunroom.    I also gave our daughter 2 white wooden chairs that we weren't using.   SO....now I just have 2 chairs in the family dining area instead of 4.   I have plans to use this area for more than just eating.....more about that 

crazy idea later...lol!

I created a chicken crossing on the pass thru & the Duncan Phyfe table...

The deconstructed sofa that was in front of the pass thru moved back to its old home in front of the window. 
  It's home has always been in front of the window but for a change..... a couple of months ago I tried it in front of the pass thru.  Not my best idea...lol!!!

I changed the pillow covers on the sofa to help give the area a Garden feel.....bugs & all!!!!

I love the Ladybug on the pillow cover!

So.....I tucked a few Ladybugs in a couple vignettes around the room....

 I replaced the Grey rug with one I already had on hand

I shopped the house for the Grey rug's replacement & found this one.   I still love this rug....but I was ready for something new & out of my comfort zone.    Can't wait to show you how this area of the family room looks now!!!
