I borrowed a fireplace screen that my Daughter hadn't used in quite a while...... It will be absolutely gorgeous when it's lit up with a cozy fire! I "shopped at home" in some of my storage places & found a couple of tall brass candlesticks to tuck into the floral designs on each side of the fireplace screen (you have to look close to find them...lol) |

The Velvet mushrooms, a piece of natural honeycomb, & a twine bee skep all add the warmth I was looking for on the mantel..... |
Maybe softly accent the ornate parts of the white picture frame?

Truly I can not tell you which of these "before" or "after" that I like best. It's always fun to have a change and then change back again. I enjoy the process of moving things around in my house. It makes a room feel refreshed and new again :)
