Refreshing a Neglected Corner in the Sunroom

I'm getting ready to decorate for Christmas, so I critiqued my sunroom to see if it was ready.    I spotted a corner that could sure use a little TLC before the holidays!

Did I really want to even start decorating the sunroom for Christmas with this corner 

looking so BLAH to begin with?  

So, I rolled up my sleeves & got busy....

 

 

  A new crisp Pink & white striped curtain replaced the old dingy one.... Then, I designed a Coastal arrangement to fill in the blank space above the curtain....   

 I replaced the dandelion arrangement that was on the top of the vintage desk with a Sailboat that I had in another room .....I put a small pillow on the desk seat....

I thought it would be a good idea to fill the area in front of the desk with pumpkins that will head back to storage in a few days...when they leave, I will have a blank canvas left to start decorating for Christmas there! 

My big brass deer was already next to the desk....she stays there pretty much all of the time....

Yep,  I even changed the rug!

I hung a picture over the French doors....AND put up the Christmas tree! 

Now, I will clean the sunroom & start bringing in the Christmas decor....
