Halloween Tablescape

I am planning an intimate dinner for two on Halloween night.  We will eat late, after all the festivities and trick or treaters. I always start a tablescape with the center piece.  This one is a marriage of a lot of different things.  I sat a candleabra in a urn that was on the front porch. For candle holders. I used silver punch bowl cups, sugars, and creamers. I put the led flicker candles in them and covered the base of the candle with birdseed.

This is a large candle that I have embelished with a ruffled skirt, a key, some burlap and a web of sparkles on the top! I sat the candle in a large crystal pedistal bowl and sat all of that in the urn.

I added lots of sparkly jewelry to the urn.

Here is a close up of the beautiful floral detail on the urn.

This is where I will sit, facing the buffet.  I will do a post on all that stuff you can see on the buffet. The last time you saw these dining room chairs, they were covered with vintage wedding dresses.  The dining room table is about 10' .  I said a "late supper" not a cozy supper!  The table runner is 8 yards of burlap.

The chargers are silver, white ironstone for the plate and another layer of silver. Top it all off with a pumpkin.

I have an assortment of old silverware place on a oblong silver tray.  I added a rose made from old dress pattern paper, made by moi!

We will have lots of candle light.  I have had these beaded candle covers for a long time and I am not sure where they even came from!

Howard will sit at this end of the table, facing the entry way. The display case on the left has all my milk glass collect in it. The one on the right holds my mothers wedding china, crystal and pink depression glass.

I found him some old crusty rusty silverware, lol .  I used this for the photo but we will actually use the real silver. I thought this flower frog was a fun way to display some small forks.

We will have plenty of candles lit!

My place setting.

These are really old salt and pepper shackers.

We will eat about 9:30....

I hope you enjoyed my Halloween tablescape!  I will be joining the following partys!
