Spooky Little Thing Called Love!

I have our bedroom decorated for Halloween

My theme is"Til Death do us part" and "Spooky little thing called Love"  I've used some of my vintage wedding gowns as curtains and the valance is black spooky gauze.

The bed is done in pink and black sheets that I got at Ross (queen...$16)  I also got the ruffled pillows there, $12.

The sheets really look like lace but are very soft

A little vignette on the bed side....with some Love Potion!  Igot my cute love potion sign at http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/

This is the chandy above the night table

Vignette on the other side....I chose vintage camera's because of the wedding theme, a pink love bird, and a clock to get to the church on time!  Also  the keys to my heart are laid on the bedside table!

This is the chandy above the other bed side table

I've got some candles on the faux fireplace  You need lots of candles for a romantic Halloween!

A love sign

I would have never thought you would hear me say I bought a  black velvet painting! I found this at a yard sale last week end...it is hand painted... and was $2.  I fell in love with it and was doing the happy dance all the way home!

Isn't she boo ti full!

I hung this beautiful spread on the closet door (my lovely SIL gave it to me)  And I displayed one of my vintage wedding gowns.

I got this little witch a Tuesday Morning and her sign says "til death do us part"

This is a quilt that belonged to my dad

I can lay in bed and watch TV

This is the wall opposite the faux fireplace

These are the cards that accompanied the wedding shower gifts for my mom and dad's wedding

And here is a picture of them

And here is Howard and I

Now back to the theme with  a goulish couple

Thank you so much for visiting, please leave me a comment if you enjoyed visiting my Spooky little love bedroom!

  8. You are simply TOO creative. Your sense of humor, coupled with your beautiful decorating taste, makes that room one to showcase for sure! Great job. I liked all the vintage pieces, as well as those wedding photos. Since I have arachniphobia, I could never stay there though - ha ha!

I have been so busy with the new TV fiasco...It is amazing how one piece of furniture can almost effect every room in the house. Of course my sons told me that if I didn't have so much stuff then it wouldn't have been such a problem!! LOL!!
