What's on the Kitchen Island this Week?

The weather has been just perfect this week end,  great for going to yard sales! We picked up this old mercantile scale for $25, which I thought was a wonderful price!

Rust in all the right places!

You could have fooled me with this faux indian corn!

.25 each

Isn't she a beauty?

I got this box of ornaments for .50!

It was full of old ornaments...

Aren't these beautiful...

Sparkly bells!

The same place that I got the ornaments had a huge table of Avon bottles...50 ea or 5 for $2. I found five that I liked..isn't that white carriage the cutest thing!

And this will look great with all my paris decor in the bathroom.

I could not pass these cute little toilet tissue covers for .10.  There were three of them , and one was covering pale blue paper!

The blue paper is so pale, you can barely see it!

I picked up some flowers in faux water and a couple of pink trees.

All .50 each

These lamps were $1 for both!

Has a little door...what can I fill these with!

I couldn't get a photo that did these icicles justice!  They are just gorgeous...all different lengths

They hang individually...really sparkle!

I got the icicles at a fundraiser for our local "abandoned cats" ranch!  $1 for a bundle of 10...I got 4 bundles. These will look so pretty hung across the mantle at Christmas!

  9. What a great day you had thrift shopping! You hit the jackpot on the Christmas Ornaments...my goodness what a box full and all seemed vintage. I really liked seeing your knitted doll paper roll covers. Those are hard to find and being hand knitted makes them extra neat as collectibles. Happy VTT.

  14. That’s a cute vintage scale! It really looks good atop your countertop. You have a great taste when it comes to design and display. Are you a fan of vintage items or were you really attracted to this one?
