I tied lace around some of the baskets... |
filled some of them with big spools of thread... |
added some rolls of lace.... |
a key or two... |
and just had fun playing with the different textures. |
You can see the baskets in the photo on the right with some of the other treasures that I bought that day at the auction. As I remember, I think I paid $6 for all the baskets. |
I decided to put all the baskets on a tall shelf cabinet thingy (etagere) that sits on a small wall between the bath and a spare bedroom. |
H painted this dark shelf white for me...so much better! |
This wall has been empty since we painted the hall back in January. I can't believe I have left that wall empty so long! |
