It's only a few days til Halloween and I just realized that I haven't shared my Halloween mantle yet! Let me clear the tree branches out of the way....shoooo the bats.......and give you a closer look.....
There....that's better...... |
The centerpiece of my mantle is this cool lit picture (Kirklands)
and pretty ? skeleton lady..... |
I have some potion bottles...ravens .....nests.....and Dollar Tree candles that I have embellished.... |
The other side of the mantle is balanced with more potion bottles (also from Kirklands), birds, and nests..... |
On a little table in front of the fireplace, I have glittery skeleton heads and .....you guessed it......more potion bottles (trust me....there's a reason for all these bottles....lol) |
I bet you are surprised to see me mixing orange with all my pink.. |
Before I close my last Halloween post for this year, I wanted to show you a few more outdoor decorations from our area..... |
Spooky cemetery.... |
Big black cat..... |
Ring around the tree ghosts..... |
HUGE pumpkins..... |
Cow pumpkins..... |
Pretty fall decor..... |
haunted house..... |
This house had creepy music playing..... |
another cemetery.... |
blow up pumpkins..... |
You gotta get past this guy to get any treats.... |
This house had the biggest grave markers that I have seen.... |

ReplyDeleteLove your mantle! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the creepy houses! And, you mantel looks great! I always look forward to all your posts....Sorry, I haven't left you a note saying so in a while....Happy Halloween to you! Leticia
ReplyDeleteWhat??? My comment just up and vanished!
ReplyDeleteThe neighborhood you live in is just beautiful! The homes don't really look old..but they are lovely. The decorations are amazing.
Now your mantel..well...fantastic, Penny! You are such a talented lady. Imagine the more you do such decorating the better you get. I know I have collected a lot over the years and will probably continue to collect..but your things are just so unique. The branches...wonderful. Another thing I am going to try to do..maybe next year. I always so that and then do less. I think I would rather just look than do! Visiting you is better than any magazine!
My goodness! Incredible! And your neighborhood certainly goes all out. We are a quiet neighbohood of older folks I guess, and nobody decorates much...except the local spiders! Lol! Fabulous!

Your Halloween decorations all look fantastic Penny! Now, you've inspired me to paint a spooky painting for the mantle. :D
ReplyDeletePenny, you really have the magic touch when it comes to display and decorating! Thanks for the tour of your neighborhood, too. Nice to see you again at Make It Monday!
ReplyDeleteI got a kick out of those cow pumpkins! I've never seen those before. You surely go all out for the occasion, Penny, and your neighborhood certainly does too. Thank you for stopping by for tea and enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,.
