The centerpiece for our table today is a simple one....a few white roses from the garden. |
I cut some sprigs of greenery from the asparagus fern baskets to fill in around the roses in my centerpiece. |
I used odds and ends pieces of china to set the table. |
I made the napkin rings from some cut outs in my new Daphne's Diary magazine. ......there are 8 pieces on the page. |
I did not know that asparagus fern bloomed.....imagine that at my age..... |
They have a bloom that reminds me of baby's breath. |
Penny,
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
I am right with you on the luxury hotel. We can have adjoining rooms!! Lol! Camping in the woods does not appeal to me at all but I would gladly come "Glamping" with you!!
Hugs,
Deb
Hi Debbie, Asparagus ferns bloom when they finally become so root bound they may croak, lol. They also get berries after the blossoms. So you might want to check and see if they need new pots. Your yard is so much fun, I wouldn't ever leave to go camping either. Do you have any trouble with your mirrors discoloring outdoors? I have an old one, that I would like to put out, but have no if it will survive Chicago winters?
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Oh Penny this is just adorable. Love this.

Do you get much rain where you live? You have so many beautiful things in your yard....like pillows and quilts and things....do you have to take them all in at night? I am truly amazed at your place. This glamping shoot is seriously the cutest thing ever!!! Or do you live under a giant dome? lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously...you are incredible!
Debbie
I was thinking the same thing... I want to know, lol. Love this idea, lately though, we've been having a lot of rain. But this is the cutest thing ever. I just learned about glamping and I like it :-)
DeleteBeautiful place setting, and the flowers on that does look like baby breaths, lovely bouquet you have made! I am with you, we use to camp when we were younger but I just don't have the want to do that anymore
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! I love your blog to pieces!!! So happy I found you! Hugs, Maryjane
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you - a luxury hotel for me. I love your way of glamping though so pretty. Your yard is gorgeous Penny. Thank you for sharing at Share It One More Time. Cathy

ReplyDeleteEverything is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI like the napkin rings made out of tags. I have tags the right colors and a big crowd coming this fall. Perfect for part of my tble scape! Thanks. Linda @bushelandapickle.com
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love to go camping... but I would also really enjoy having a cute little glamping trailer parked permanently in my yard. Sometimes it would just be nice to have a cozy little retreat close by.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing all of the glamping trailers at the Country Living Fair - yours is delightful - I will be featuring your post in this week's Home and Garden Thursday,
ReplyDeleteKathy
How adorable Penny!! Love a little bit of 'glamping'... especially when you don't need to leave home to do it!
