| I added a copper mirror left over from our daughters wedding reception to the mantle. I brought in a pair of poodle dog lamps that were in the family room. I put the lit garland up last Christmas, so I just left it up since it's almost time to decorate for Christmas again......lol! |

| The nights are getting cooler, so I added a vintage comforter to the bed. |

| I brought in two blue pillows from the living room..... |

| This one is my favorite.....they lived happily ever after. I had it on the sofa in the family room. |

| I found this Always Kiss Me Goodnight sign in the back of my closet when I cleaned it out. |

| The shoes and picture were on the mantle, so I moved them to the chesser when I put the new vignette on the mantle. The poodles were in the cabinet on the side of the fireplace in the family room. |

| All I did to my cross was give it a good cleaning. |

| I moved the chair that was at my desk to the living room and brought a chair in from the sun room to replace it. I had bought a new chair at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago (for $3...can't wait to show you the makeover it got) and that chair went into the sun room where this one was. |

ReplyDeleteSO feminine. My present husband would tolerate it..and does. Rose strewn wallpaper..lots of roses around the house..but the family room, not at all. Definitely not a femine room. And that is where he is much of the time. However he doesn't seem to mind one bit, my lace and flowers. I love your feminine home..and here's the thing, Penny, your husband must be so ultra secure in his manhood that he doesn't give a fig how you decorate as long as YOU ARE HAPPY. I consider you, as Rose does, one lucky woman!

Your bedroom is very pretty and "girlie" and your husband doesn't mind??!! My husband will tolerate some laces and roses and most of my "victorian" stuff. But I try to make it comfortable for him too :)
