Christmas in the Kitchen

I finally got the kitchen cleaned ....whew!    It needed a deep cleaning because of all the cooking that was done for the wedding .   Yeah,  I know.....the wedding was back in early Oct.   Don't judge me....lol!
I try to dress my plain black burners up and I usually keep them covered with white enamel lids.

The photo on the left is Christmas 2014.

For 2015  (the photo on the right)  I decided to use ceramic cake and pie covers,

I got this far with my Christmas kitchen  decorating today.

My theme for the kitchen this year is Christmas Goodies.

This sweet white mouse is enjoying a plate of Christmas goodies.....

The vintage pink oven will get a lot of  use this holiday season...lol

There are cakes to be made......

We'll need dozens of cupcakes for the holidays.....

Be back soon to share the  progress on the other  kitchen counters!

  10. Penny,
LOVE those cake covers! I don't think I ever saw something like those around here. So pretty!! I do love candy , cupcakes and goodies in the Kitchen at Christmas! So pretty. I finished our kitchen yesterday and I just need to tweak somethings outside, otherwise, they are finished. I worked last night and have to work tonight but will be starting the Den tomorrow evening. I have not decorated the Den for Christmas in 3 years so I am looking forward to that...

    Hugs,
    Deb
