The Christmas tree in the family room this year is so different from any tree we've ever had.......it's a very simple shabby Christmas tree.... |
I have tucked candelabras in between the branches........hung the shabby stars that I made.......draped pearls...... |
The tree topper is one of my handmade shabby stars too..... |
Has my tree grown wooden "legs"? |
I love the illusion of legs that these pieces gave the tree...... |
Have you ever thought of using a wall shelf as one of the decorations for your tree....why not! |
......pretty pieces of crochet....... |
Roses..... |
chandys...... |
I normally spend hours hanging pretty ornaments on the tree....but this year it's just a simple shabby Christmas tree. http://lifeonvirginiastreet.com/2015/12/christmas-home-tour-link-party/ http://eatdrinkandsavemoney.com/2015/12/05/share-the-wealth-sunday-33/ http://www.thoughtsfromalice.com/2015/12/sundays-at-home-no-86-weekly-link-party.html http://www.pinkwhen.com/diy-sunday-showcase-125-favs/ http://www.lifeonlakeshoredrive.com/2015/12/a-bouquet-of-talent-party-and-features.html http://madeinaday.com/2015/12/05/blogmas-extravaganza-linky-party-gifts-edition/ http://www.pamspartyandpracticaltips.com/2015/12/dare-to-share-192.html http://www.sunnysimplelife.com/2015/12/simple-saturdays-blog-link-party-125.html http://whipperberry.com/2015/12/the-party-bunch-link-party-no-110.html http://www.thesitsgirls.com/community/december-5th-saturday-sharefest/ http://www.vintagepaintandmore.com/2015/12/share-it-one-more-time-link-party-and.html http://piecedpastimes.blogspot.com/2015/12/saturday-sparks-link-party-144.html http://www.thegirlcreative.com/be-inspired-link-party-no-75/ http://seevanessacraft.com/2015/12/15052/ |
Hee, Hee...wheres the farmhouse sink....love that creativity there...and why not---gorgeous tree to begin with...was it flocked or did you do it, I'm loving the look. No room in the bedroom this year...too many plants hogging the open space. Thanks for sharing and it is luscious! Sandi
ReplyDeleteI love the shabby chic style. Your shabby chic tree is fantastic!!!!!

Made my jaw drop! You are the Shabby Chic Queen! This reminded me of a tree I saw at a decorator shop that had white child's chairs wedged in it with Christmas scenes on the seats. Christmas trees now have no rules! Penny I think you've made your own rule book!

ReplyDeleteShabby as it is, it's still gorgeous. Lovely and unique.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like something out of a fairy tale movie! So lovely and very unique! Didn't you do a tree from vintage wedding dresses before???
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love the pink drape on the mantle. The lights underneath make it look so magical. **sigh**

ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! Leave it to you to place a candlabra in a Tree!!! LOVE it!! Amazing creativity!! I have to ask you about the flocked tree....I ahve been admiring them for some years now and I am wondering if that flocking sheds and falls off all over the floor? Just curious.....
