I hadn't intended to do anymore decorating for Valentines, but when I put away the winter decor that was in the hall cabinets this morning...... |
The lit cabinet that holds my milk glass collection was built in the "wide spot" at the end of the hallway |
Along with the lit cabinet, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a large laundry room down the hallway. |
I'll just let you scroll down and see some of my Valentine vignettes...... |
Across from the built in cabinets, I have three identical mirrors and a small display cabinet |
I decorated the smaller cabinet with the same theme as the big lit cabinet..... |
I couldn't decide which side of the flower arrangement I liked the best.... |
The cabinet that had been at the end of the hallway for quite a while was moved to the kitchen last week........ |
Here is it's new home!

I just love your home. So light and bright and everywhere you look there are beautiful things to see.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many pretty mirrors. Your hall way looks beautiful to see all your different mirrors. Each one shows another pretty setting across from it. The way you make your lit up cabinet look with your collection & then add your theme to it is ALWAYS beautiful.

It's all so lovely and warm. You have so many things to work with..in all my life I've never seen anyone with so many beautiful things! It's amazing and mesmerizing each day to check in and see what new things you have brought out, bought or rearranged. It's really like a trip through a decorating fantasyland. I always have to inspect every little detail. A big hug to you for all your inspiration!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have the prettiest, sweetest and charming homes ever! I'd be smiling all the time. Your collection of Dreamcicles is just precious!
ReplyDeleteLove your charming home! Everything is so pretty!

Wow Penny you have so much pretty and romantic items in your collections. How do you keep track of it all? You have so many gorgeous pieces of milk glass. Do you collect it as you find pieces?
ReplyDeleteI was especially interested in your cabinet with the milk glass, have just recently begun to collect some but don't think will ever have what you do. For one thing no place to keep so many things. As it is I store much of things I want to keep track of in our old Suburban. That way nothing gets lost (or gone) via hubs. He complains about all my stuff.
It's like gee whiz can't an old lady (75 yrs. old, old lady my foot) have some things I love around me?
I like to rotate things for seasons/holidays too so have to have someplace to store them. I've managed to migrate some of my stuff in hubs little travel trailer we don't use anymore. My reasoning is if we're not going to use it why not store things in it. I miss going and staying in it.
Whenever I click on your posts, just never know what you've been up to. How is everything in New Mexico? Do you get snows and cold temps?
I really need a new chair or some kind of cushion on seat, my butt gets sore sitting here for any length of time. Been trying to get caught up on blog posts, hard for me to keep up. Have to spend quite a bit of time daily doing my physical therapy exercises for my shoulder/arm. Had right shoulder replaced on 12/7 so am working on getting that shoulder and arm to work right again. It's coming along, takes time. Better go gal. have great week.
Penny,
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of Dreamsicles. So cute!! My one niece used to collect them. I finally finished decorating the Living Room for Valentine's Day and just need to finish the V Day Tree in the Dining Room and then I can post about it.
I have been taking my time because I have not decorated for Valentine's Day in 2 years and forgot what I had, where I put it and also added some things that I bought on Clearance over the years.
Hugs,
Deb
I am so impressed with all your amazing collection of pink and valentine focused ornaments. We don't decorate for seasons in Australia (only Christmas) so I am always amazed when I see it in its full glory. Thanks for sharing with us on our #OverTheMoon link up ~ Leanne
