I haven't found a name for my piece yet....is it a entry piece......a potting table...... floral styling station.... |
When you lift the lid over the two drawers, you can see I have moss in one drawer..... |
I have styrofoam in the other drawer. For now, I am using my piece as a floral styling station. |
I have two silverware cases that I use to store floral supplies. |
I bought the mirror that we used for the top of our piece at the auction this past summer for $10. |
I still have the mirror that originally went with the dresser, but it is hanging in the hall gallery wall. |
The chair legs that you see supporting the two bottom drawers are an auction purchase. I got the bid ($1) on a box of odds and ends chair legs. |
Penny, You are so clever. I think that mirror is truly a sweet piece. Blessings to you , xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteWow, Penny this looks great! I love the dresser and it looks beautiful in your home. Thanks so much for stopping by Inspiration Thursday tonight and sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteLOL, you go from all that snow to this...70's its 5 here in Chicagoland. What a Fab Idea to make a styling station. Everyone needs places for messes. I'm going to redo the potting bench this summer, can't wait. But first the ice and snow has to leave.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas, Sandi
WOW! Such vision.....and I love the faucet handles.
ReplyDeleteHowever you decide to use it, it is a wonderful transformation.
ReplyDeleteYou always amaze me with your clever ideas. It looks great! Very well done again

So the dresser is out on the porch? :) How clever you are! We have had such winds here..that my poor front porch is in constant chaos. My pretty birdcage blew over and broke into pieces..and it was on the sheltered patio. Your dresser makes the perfect porch piece..so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe of how you transformed those completely mismatched pieces. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking this to Thoughts of Home on Thursday, Penny. ;)
Leave it to you Penny to figure out how to combine pieces of this and that for such a wonderful total piece. The mirror frame is so nice, love it, love it. I have thing for mirrors and frames. Painting it all white makes it look pretty darned gorgeous. Love all the storage you have in it. Enjoy your new piece from scraps. Happy weekend
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteAnother amazing transformation!! I so envy you for being able to keep things on your porch like that. We had about 3 inches of snow the other day which is now frozen as we had a high of only 20 yesterday and we have a high of 12 predicted for Saturday with a low of -3 on Sunday morning!! Winter is still with us here in NEPA!!
Hugs,
Deb
