In this Easter vignette, I have my mothers lamp that she bought in 1949 while on a trip to California. |
I have a display cabinet on each side of the fireplace. This one has some of my vintage dishes..... |
The pink depression glass pitcher and glasses belonged to my mother..... |
While digging "deep" in my totes for possible yard sale stuff, I found a sweet bunny that I made years ago..... |
I made her in the 90's when I was doing craft shows....my mother made the coordinating pillows. |
The bunnies are beginning to take over the family room! If you want to see more of the bunnies and horses ....click here |
Love the lit teapot. The bunnies started multiplying here as soon as the Christmas came down. Then it was tucked in between the Valentine's. Now they're finding room of their own.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteLove the tea pot and your Mother's lamp is drop dead gorgeous!! I will not be taking down Valentine's and Winter decor until the end of the month. I will be getting some company over the next few weeks that are coming to see these decorations so they will be staying up.
Hugs,
Deb
Penny, love all the pretty bunnies, dishes, etc. I remember that my cousin and I made so many bunnies and sold them. They were so much fun to make there dresses. I only have two left and I do treasure them. Everything looks beautiful and Spring.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. Happy hunting in your totes.
Mary
Yes, of course I've begun my Springtime decorating, but let me tell you, Penny, it's does not hold a candle to yours. I was reading your post this morning and it occurred to me that your mother must have been an amazing person when it came to decorating and talent as yourself! Those pillows she made that go with your bunny, are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEverything is just beautiful and so creative. YOU are my favorite magazine, and the best part is that you are always new and inspiring and never ending. :):):)
It's looking great! I love all the little touches you've added. It really says "spring" all over the room. Thanks for sharing at Inspiration Thursday!
ReplyDeleteLike you, we are experiencing spring weather. I am lightening up my vignettes and bringing in more flowers.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the sweet treasures you have that belonged to your mother.
Thanks for Saving Your Cup!
Very pretty, I love seeing that you have kept many special items from your Mom. It's quite enjoyable going into bins and finding things that you forgot all about. It's like they're new all over again. Best wishes on getting things together for your yard sale, I have to do the same. Maybe I'll find some memories in the boxes also. Have a great day, Kelly. (I'm visiting from Wow Me Wednesday).
ReplyDeleteLoved it!! I love the bunny riding the horse!! Your gorgeous vignette makes me long for Spring!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity with us at Friday Favorites! I hope you will join us again this week! Hugs- Christine at
