So, H and I put our heads together and this is what we came up with. |
By putting the side table up on the typewriter stand and turning the cash register around, I had a place to extend the drawer. |
The top of the register was missing, so H put a board across it and nailed an old safe drawer (also from his office) across the top of the board. I filled the safe drawer with violets and succulents. |
The cash register drawer is perfect for napkins...... |
Candles, small snacks, drinks......anything we might need while we sit on the porch |
