Wedding Memory Wreath

Our daughter asked me the other day what could be done with the big box of left over wedding decor just sitting in her garage.   I asked  her  if she would like me to take the box home with me and see if I could maybe make her a pretty wreath to hang over the fireplace.   She already has the mason jar candles from the wedding on her mantel,  so I thought a wreath would be perfect!

Melissa has her bridal bouquet in a display with wedding photographs in their entry way,  but her daughters bouquets were in the box.    I asked if it was ok to take them apart to make a memory wreath and she agreed that it sounded like a plan!

The bouquet with the butterfly on it was Kyleigh's,  the one on the left was Sarah's..

These are the necklaces that Ky and Sarah wore   .......I just have them hung in the wreath in case they want to wear them again.

These are the earrings Sarah wore......

It worked out perfect that Melissa has her family room decorated in the same colors as her wedding was done in!

Now when Melissa and Randy  cuddle  up  on a cold night in front of the fireplace ,   they can see their memory wreath on the mantel and think back about their special day!

  19. Penny, what a clever idea. Turned out lovely and I'm sure they will enjoy it for years. My middle daughters wedding was blue and yellow and we used some lemon décor. She moved into her 2nd home last year and she still has a lemon theme in her kitchen. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
