I'm going to serve our supper in my swan soup tureen.. |
We are having a light supper tonight in the family dining room...... |
The swan soup tureen is swimming in a bed of pastel fall flowers...... |
Simple place setting.....a dinner plate as a charger for the soup bowl |
The paper swan place mats came from Amazon...... |
On one end of the table is the lit cabinets that hold my collection of milk glass...... |
On the other end of the table is a DF/buffet. I can open up the leaves and add it to the existing table to make a huge family table. Or, I can use it as a buffet with the leaves folded down. |
I have a vignette on the buffet with the pumpkins I made from vintage wedding dresses |
I took this photo of the family room from the kitchen doorway. I have the fall tree set up, but I need to replace some of the lights and decorate it.....maybe next week! |
This photo of the family room was taken in the sun room doorway |

wondering if you have a recipe for the dumplings? My mother in law from my ex husband made wonderful ones that looked just like yours. He was the ex, but my MIL always remained my beloved friend until she died years ago.
