Weekend Treasure Hunt

I was so excited when I came upon this vintage Odette Barsa lingere at a yard sale over the week end....what a find!     I was able to get a little background on the pieces from the lady having the sale.....they belonged to her mother in law that had just passed away and are from the 50's.    It is a four piece set and she had them marked individually but really wanted the set to stay together so she made me a great deal on the four pieces.....$10 for all.   I told her I would add them to the collection that I have of my mothers vintage lingere and always treasure them.

All the pieces are in excellent condition......

Look at the ribbon work......gorgeous!

Ecru lace over pink sating......

There is a long gown and robe......a short robe.....and a bed jacket.

I also picked up a set of pillow cases that are the same color.....I think her mother in law must have loved this shade of pink.

My new vintage lingere went straight to my closet in the master bedroom......

There are two closets in the bedroom and I have one filled with vintage clothing and the other holds my every day clothing.  H has a big double closet in the guest room right across the hall for his stuff.
