I had put my ugly house makeovers on the back burner until after Thanksgiving and I finally had a chance to work on them today. |
This group of houses just got what I call a mini makeover. Most of the other ones that I've shared with you were entirely sprayed with white paint and then I added pink and green trims. |
You can see the houses with a full makeover on the counter on the right side of the photo......and the mini makeover houses are on the counter to the left of the sink. |
The horse and carriage move around in a circle and all the shops & trees have lights . |
Before .............................................................................................After |
The next house I gave a mini makeover had a fountain (that doesn't work) and lots of pretty lights. It also plays Christmas music. |
I filled the fountain in with "snow"...... |
Before.....................................................................................After |
This house was only a dollar at a yard sale, so I didn't mind that the clock didn't work. I could have bought a new clock at HL but I didn't really need another clock |
Before...................................................After |
See how pretty the houses look with their lights on .......and the kitchen is filled with Christmas music. |
I still have a couple more area's in the kitchen that I plan to add some Christmas touches to and will soon be sharing a Home for the Holidays Christmas Kitchen tour. |
Those makeovers are really cute, Penny. You did a great job dolling them all up. Love the ones that look like 'gingerbread' houses...and the one with the fountain is really different and cute, too. Happy Monday- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI think it does look like gingerbread house. So cute.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable. You do such nice work and inspire me.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet collection, you have...my gosh you must have bought miles of that bling...but it really works well. Thanks for the ideas, Sandi
ReplyDeleteI HAVE glued miles of that bling so far....lol! I bought a roll of it at Hobby Lobby for $5 and it has worked perfect for my project. You can easily cut it in the width and length that you need....hugs...
DeleteSo sweet... I love the blue lights in the house... I am so far behind with mission projects and helping DH with outside decorations...but I will not stress... just going with the flow and what gets done will be done. Fortunately I have crocheted through the year and put things away along with books the grands will be delighted with. I always enjoy seeing what you do next. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMagical......your special touches and creative vision is just amazing. Love everything. Hope your hubby has fully recovered. Judy
