Last Minute Thanksgiving Tablescape on a Budget

This time next week,  we'll be busy getting everything ready for Thanksgiving.....where did the year go?  
If you don't have anything in mind yet for your Thanksgiving tablescape,  I have some tips and good news for you.    The good news is that Hobby Lobby has their fall décor 80% off.

My plaid tablerunner is 2 yards of fabric that I cut down the fold mark and sewed end to end  to make a long.... quick.... simple runner

I had eyed this metal pumpkin carriage at Hobby Lobby all fall and couldn't bring myself to spend $40 for it.     $8 .....I can live with that price!

This HL board for $4 would be so pretty in the center of your Thanksgiving table with several tall candles on it. 

  

I shopped the house for some metal trays ......the silver "lift" box in the middle of the two trays is a left over candy box!  

  If you follow my blog,  you will remember my glass and brass tiered stand.    This is my 5th fall tablescape using it.

You can see a glimpse of the Christmas trees on one side of the fireplace in the family room.   I have the  trees up on each side,  but not decorated yet.    I have a few pieces on the mantel,  but am far from having it completed.
