Weekend Treasure Hunt

After I dropped H off for his therapy Friday morning,   I had an hour to run by a couple of yard sales.

I can't pass up pretty rose dishes for $1 a piece....can you?

I thought these rusty vintage skates might find a place in my Christmas decor this year......

Any ideas for a repurpose?

H has a collection of old mixers and I thought this vintage hand mixer would make a nice addition to his collection.....it still works!

I had bought this metal settee at a yard sale about a month ago but had forgot to show it to you.

 Pink or white....can't decide!

  1. I had a pair of those skates...lol...That is probably about what they cost when they were new, don't you think?

  2. Penny,
Love your Moss Rose dishes!! What a buy for them too!!
    And that settee is spectacular!!
On Sat, temps. hit 70 degrees and by 10 pm that night, we got our first inch of snow!! We got about 2 inches that stuck only to the grass but other areas farther north here in Pa. got up to 7 inches!! High temps. in the 30's and low 40's here all week so Winter has definitely come to the Northeast!!
    Hugs,
    Deb

  4. I have one like that. I used Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze, which I know is not your color, but wow, did it ever turn out nice and I have it on my side porch. Love it.
