Week End Treasure Hunt

The warm weather we enjoyed on Saturday was perfect for a road trip to Amarillo Texas to check out a few yard sales and visit some of my favorite antique shops.
Before I give you the details on the treasures that I found,   I want to share the last of my Valentine decor in the kitchen.   When I saw this photo,  I realized that I hadn't shared the coffee corner in the kitchen.

I found these fun Valentine towels and napkins at Marshall's and thought they would be a quick touch of Valentine decor to our coffee area.

I think the towels can be used year round if you wanted to,  don't you?

SO.....back to the week end treasures.
One of my favorite antique mall's in Amarillo is the Nat.    The Nat  is a 20,000 sq ft antique mall located on 6th street...also know as the historic Route 66 district.    When I saw this 1959 pink caddy,   I knew it would look great parked in front of my Victorian house on the fireplace mantle in the master bedroom.

Perfect!

I "liked" the car that I had on the mantle before,   but I "LOVE" the look of my pink caddy.

I found these nested ducks at one of my other favorite antique malls and can't wait to use them in a tablescape with my duck soup tureen and duck cracker holder.

An estate sale purchase.......

$3 for a white rose topiary.......

This greenery had never been used and still had the original price tag of $15.95....seemed a little pricey to me....but for $3 I grabbed them up.

$1 faux rose swag......

I guess our temps in the 80's are coming to an end......we are supposed to have a cold front come into Eastern New Mexico tonight and maybe snow tomorrow and Tuesday!    This weather is crazy!
