Spring Sunroom

I have been cleaning ,   moving stuff around,  and adding some spring touches to the sunroom this morning.

First I flipped the two chairs that were on each side of the sofa.   I do that pretty often as the chair that is on the right side of  the sofa gets sat in way more than the one of the left.    Hopefully they will wear out about the same time by keeping them rotated.

Last spring.......................................................................2017 spring.

I changed the slip covers on this chair,  and left the other one as it was.

I didn't have a coffee table in front of the sofa,  but decided it needed one.
My tiered harp table has been in the studio.   so I asked H if he would bring it in and give it a new look with a fresh coat of white paint.   I don't use this table a lot because the dark color doesn't look good with my light decor.    I have struggled with whether I wanted to paint it or not because it belonged to my mother.    I finally decided that my mother would want me to use and enjoy this gorgeous piece,  so H painted it for me....thank you honey!

I replaced the chair that was on the right side of the armoire with my new white wicker chair that I bought over the week end at the auction.    I had to recover the cushions on it to make it fit in with the color scheme that I have in the sun room.

The chair that was here last spring had been moved across the room a long time ago.   Kyleigh likes to sit in it and wanted it on the other side of the room.

Here's where I had moved Ky's chair quite a while ago.

I gave her chair fresh slip covers with fabric that matches what I put on the new wicker rocker.

Sometimes just swapping some furniture around,  adding a new piece or two,   different slip covers......these are some of the easiest ways to give your room a fresh new look!

  2. Ah---can't wait to get out on my porch and add a little spring. Maybe, next week, but it will never be as pretty as this. So pretty, Penny, thanks for the motivation---if the weather will cooperate, Sandi
