I made a centerpiece for my tablescape using wood slice chargers to make a Valentine cake. |
I made a wood slice cake for Christmas and filled it with "snow" icing and had a family of deer on the top. For my Valentine cake, I filled my cake slices with moss icing and small dried carnations. |
The sun is flooding the dining room with light today, so I'm having a hard time getting good photo's. |
The cake topper for my Valentine cake is a sweet cow couple....... |
Here's the back side of the Valentine wood slice cake...... |
I have the table set with my mothers wedding china....... |
Made in America about 70 years ago! |
The tablerunner is a long white enamel tray. |
Let's look around the room........over in the corner unit |
I have a pair of "Love Bugs" |
I thought the love bugs would add a little more Valentine decor to the dining room. |
Pink O'clock......my favorite time of the day! |
The other corner of the dining room has a dress form..... |
Next to the dress form is a vintage sewing machine that has been converted to a lamp......with a chicken wire lamp shade |
Then, I have a couple more prints on the ladder by my chair in the family room. |
I use the word "framed" loosely.......lol! |
I have a vintage wood pant holder on the top and one on the bottom of the print....... |
I still have 9 more prints left in my calendar to frame! |
Thank you so much for stopping by...........come back soon! |
