Our week end treasure hunt took us to a beautiful country home for an estate sale. |
This home is located on a large acreage in Lubbock Texas...... |
The couple that owned it had already moved to San Antonio and were having an estate sale to liquidate the items that they didn't take with them. |
This is the guest house that will be hosting an estate sale next week end. Hopefully we will get to go to it too! Below are some of the items that were for sale........ |
Now, back to what came home with me after a week end of treasure hunting. We went to several sales, so I won't try to tell you what came from where....lol! |
Tea pot.....$12 Topiary........$4 Wood slice......$2 Old metal truck.......$5 |
Embroidered pillow case.......50 cents |
Wall plaque..........$3.75 |
I saved the best for last! This is an antique Withrow Oriole Go Basket/ Child Carrier that I was able to get half price late Saturday for $38 |
It was made in the early 1900's |
I knew exactly where I would place it when we got it home...... |
Handle down.............................................Handle up |
It found a home right by the front door where I can put on a jacket and take the great grand for a stroll around the front yard! |
Wow dear lady, you found some goodies!
ReplyDeleteWow. That Lubbock house is gorgeous. I could have used that silverplate for $30.00. That's my pattern. You find the best stuff, Penny.
