My favorite room in our home to decorate for Valentines Day is the bedroom. |
I made this wreath many years ago and it's still one of my favorites. I embellished it with old pieces of jewelry and vintage lace. |
The hand painted heart cookie cutter was gifted to me by a friend. |
The ceramic unicorn drawn carriage belonged to my mother. |
I'm not sure when or where my mother came up with this lovely piece, but I will always treasure it. |
I made several of these pin cushions years ago....... |
I used to sell them at craft shows, and these are a couple that were left over. |
The vintage radio on the wall across from the chesser is a piece that you haven't seen before. |
It's a beautiful piece and I don't know why I haven't taken it out of storage and used it before now! |
I have an vintage sewing machine drawer filled with hearts as the centerpiece for the top of the radio |
This sweet couple finish off the Valentine vignette |
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit .......come back soon!/ |

ReplyDeletePenny, one word comes to mind: DREAMY!!! So pretty and your header photo is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLovely bedroom and so nice decorated! I love shabby. Have a nice day, Simona
ReplyDeleteAs a crochet designer, I love that you use doilies as a base for your vignettes! Beautiful!
ReplyDeletePenny, I love the warm feeling you give every room. I love how you have painted your furniture white. Does Mr H do this for you? I assume he uses a spray painter to get such a beautiful finish? I love the sweet touch of nick nacks that are from days gone by. You bring back the wonderful era a appreciation of art talent. These artist that created these little jewels were very talented. It breaks my heart when I see so many of these things dumped at thrift stores. I love the finds, but I feel the family or whoever took them to thrift store did not appreciate the past. I hope and pray your children appreciate your collections.
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to do so many things I have always loved.
