The coat rack is the first thing you see when you come in the front door. |

The centerpiece for the coat rack is a spring chicken that has made her nest in a metal cake pedestal. |

Below her nest, you'll find a pair of pink birds and a big lavender egg |

I didn't know if a carrot tree would fit in with my Spring chicken centerpiece , but when I Googled "does a chicken eat carrots" I found out that they do! They also like other garden veggies.....like, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, and also several fruits WHO KNEW?????? |

On the bottom shelf of the coat rack, I have a white metal rooster, a metal barn, and a umbrella with a gorgeous spring print. |

I also hung a lavender wreath on the coat closet........ |

It's the formal living / dining room. I am in the process of making some changes to this room, and hope I am finished in time to add some spring decor to it. If I run out of time, Easter is late this year so maybe then! |

Penny, I love the hen. She looks like a hen my sister made that had a brick inside to be used as a doorstop. Yours is so beautiful and brings the feeling of Spring.
