Easter is a special time for our family, so I like to set a pretty table for us to enjoy our dinner together. . |
Dinner will be served buffet style on the island in the kitchen |
In the past, I have had each table set in a different theme with the place settings pretty much all alike |
This year, I'm going rogue.....lol! |
Nothing will be matchy matchy........ |
No one will be assigned a seat...... |
Everyone can just pick the seat they want......get their plate and go to the kitchen island and fill it |
Easter dinner will be very casual.....and fun! |
Let's take a look at the setting they will have to choose from at this table....... |
Would you pick the pink bunny plate? |
Would you like to see a sweet lamb while you eat? |
Do you prefer to sit on the end or in the middle of the table? |
I used all paper place mats at this table....... |
My paper place mats came on a pad of 30 from Amazon...... |
The bunny plates are plastic and came from Home Goods....... |
Some place settings have a salad plate and some don't |
The tables won't be cluttered with serving dishes.......just salt and pepper......and butter for the dinner rolls |
I enjoy your visits so much.....please come back soon! |
Absolutely beautiful! love all the little details :-) Enjoy the rest of your week!

I'm sure your family will enjoy eating at your pretty tables! I particularly loved the pink glassware (Depression glass?) and the salt/pepper shakers (Fitz & Floyd?).

Looks so pretty for a women get together. Found you on Blogger's Pit Stop Link Party.
ReplyDeleteEverything is lovely, I'm so glad we have gotten over matchy-matchy. When you have a large crew, buffet is the only way to go! Hope you have a wonderful holiday.
ReplyDeletePenny, Thank you for the lovely, lovely table settings. I do love your garden in the bread bowl and everything else. I am sure your family is always excited to get together at your house, who wouldn't. I also like the eclectic settings. It is much more inviting for a family get together or friends when things don't match. Eating together is supposed to memorable and fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks. What can we all bring to join your party.
We had another foot of snow Wednesday into Thursday so I am reallyyyyyyyy ready for for warmer weather. It was very wet and heavy.

Penny, I want to come to your house for Easter dinner! Honestly, though, if I ever did visit your home, I doubt I'd be able to sit down and eat. . . I'd want to explore every single room. You are just a master of creating beautiful spaces, and this table setting is no exception. Happy Easter to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining the Grace at Home party at Imparting Grace. I'm featuring you this week!
