Come on in and I'll show you around........ |
At least one load of laundry is done in here nearly every day....... |
But my utility room is so much more than just a place to do the laundry....... |
I have also been known to sit in the sun and read or do some sewing and crafts. I usually just do a little hand work, but I have a portable sewing machine in the closet that I can sit on the desk. |
I always enjoy your visits so much. thank you for dropping by to see my Christmas utility room......come back soon! |
Wow your laundry room looks so pretty and happy! I love the way you have everything hidden and you can sit and do your makeup and hair! Yay.
ReplyDeleteI always decorated my laundry room,too...not so much in this house we are renting as we wait to find our new home. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable. I think I'll take another look at my laundry room.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Penny, You have such talent and make everything pretty and happy. I would love to have a large utility room. I think every home should have a large one to keep things out of sight and have extra storage like you do. I have seen them with mud rooms in them too which keeps the home cleaner which I really love. Yours is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Leona
ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have a place of your own...cause let's face it most men are not going to do laundry. Plus having your make up there is really nice. I love that room. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeletePenny, with each post to your blog I always take a big sigh and immediately get lost in your photos of your beautiful home. I have taken some decorating ideas from you and did them in my own home and I want to thank you for sharing your decorating talent with all of us. I just love blending shabby chic/romantic with farmhouse!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic place to do laundry.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Danw
Penny! What a bright and sunny, happy laundry room!!! Will definitely be featuring at this week's Share Your Style #234. Thank you for sharing it. Love your desk nestled in there, too. <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas season to you and Mr. H,
Barb :)
Penny, you just amaze me! And you inspire me--I realize I leave my laundry room neglected, and now I want to add some fun Christmas decor to it. Thank you!
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteLove this sweet room and how you have decorated it!! I blow dry my hair in the Powder Room downstairs....It comes from working night shift and getting up right before work so in an attempt not to wake up the boys when they were small, I would do my hair downstairs and it just stuck....
Hugs,
Deb
