I took the opportunity to break up some of the bowls with a yard long Paul de Longpre rose print. |
The backless stools were not very comfy to sit at .....the new ones are much more comfortable. |
Both of the new stools had been in storage so H gave the white one a new coat of paint and made the brown one match it. |
Now, for a tour of my late summer / early fall tour of the kitchen. |
I have the inside of the cabinet decorated with prints that I found on Pinterest and printed them on my home printer. Instead of framing them I chose to clip them on a chicken wire frame. |
If you noticed, I had the doors open in some of the photo's and closed in others. I can't decide which way I like it the best yet.....what do you guys think? |
I added some white sunflowers to the existing floral design in the wagon that a metal goat is pulling thru the kitchen....lol! |
I created a simple fall vignette in the hoosier .....a white scale, 2 pillow ticking pumpkins, and a canvas goat picture. |
I shared a post earlier this week about how I decorated the corner shelving unit for fall. If you missed it, here's a link with all the details......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2021/08/vintage-door-corner-cabinet-styled-for.html Thank you so much for stopping by and also for being so patient with my very long post....lol! Sorry it was so long, but I had a lot to share ! hugs... |
I like the de-cluttered look MUCH better!

ReplyDeleteI never knew that your kitchen was so bright and big. I guess all of your items distracted me. The less is more approach makes your kitchen look livable and lovely.

Definitely a fan of a spare look, and I love your subtle sunflowers.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteWOW! that makes your kitchen look so much more bigger even though I know it is quite large to begin with....It does look nice but I am used to seeing more of all your pretties around and you know I am a More is More type of gal but as long as you are happy with it then that is all that matters!!
Hugs,
Deb
I am pinning away! Your kitchen looks bright and welcoming, yet cozy with the fall touches. Please let me say that I very much enjoy your home more with less decor items. The guest room you did a few weeks ago, and now this? Truly inspiring and inviting!
